sacred space for all God's people

Our Mission:

Love Everyone.

Our hope is in Jesus, freeing us to take risks unbound from our fears. Because Jesus came to bring Good News to all, we are committed to social justice. Because the Spirit descended at Pentecost, we are grateful to live in the complex mix of different cultures, celebrating all God has given us.

Our Mission

Greetings! Jesus called the church to be a house of prayer for all nations. The Comunidad Unida Project seeks to build a bi-cultural worshiping community that welcomes all God's people. We come from many cultures, nations, we are single, gay, straight, and bi. We are serious about living as Jesus called us to live in order to learn to live with joy.

We invite you to our Posada Navideña!

6720 31st Street, Berwyn, IL 60402

We will do the traditional tour with music and Christmas songs.
We will enjoy traditional food, bags with candy, and more! Do not miss it!

The Posada is a tradition in Mexico where people travel up and down streets reenacting  Mary and Joseph’s journey to seek lodging for the birth of Jesus.  Usually, the posada takes 9 days to complete but most people today host it on one day.  At the end of the posada where Mary and Joseph are finally given housing, a great and joyous party is hosted for all to come and enjoy a feast.
